Sep. 27th, 2009 04:19 pmthe husband and i both have a very high probability of having twins... we both have an unnaturally hefty amount of twins in our families, one generation back, so we are kind of banking on it. personally, i hope it happens, but who knows?
anyway, we were talking the other day about having twins and have come up with some names...
girls:
josephine and genevieve
(josie and eve/evie)
girl/boy:
josephine and jasper
(josie and jazz)
boys:
noah gray and jasper john
havent decided on middles yet, but one of the girls middles will be colleen, after my late mother. also, boys middles are pretty much set. we love noah gray (gray is my mothers maiden name) and john after the my husbands father, despite the whole jasper johns reference, which he didnt even know, so we will just deal with it!
just curious what you guys think?
ETA: um i seem to have deleted the post for a minute. oops.

Date: 2009-09-27 08:25 pm (UTC)I was just thinking yesterday about how we would arrange our favorite names if we ever had twins (we have a high occurrence of people in our family getting pregnant with twins but losing one during the pregnancy... so it's a small possibility for us). Girl/Girl would be Zia Violet and Carys Audrey. Boy/Boy would be Jude Caleb and Oliver James. Girl/Boy would be Zia Violet and Jude Caleb.

Date: 2009-09-27 10:06 pm (UTC)Josephine and Genevieve are lovely! But I dislike Josie and would much rather see Effie, Sophie, or even Jo. I do really like Evie, but I like Ginny better. I can get over the matching beginning sound since they're two different letters. The names go well together.
I don't like Josephine and Jasper together at all. They are totally different styles to me and both begin with J.
Noah Gray and Jasper John are great together.
