After a lot of posts about creative names and spellings and such...

Do YOU have a creative name? Do you know someone who does? How does she/he deal with it?

The only one I can think of is a kid I work with. He goes by Jeff; that's the spelling he has on his name tag, the spelling he uses on Facebook.. the spelling I would assume he had if I hadn't seen the legal version written on the schedule: Jephthe. Oy.

You can't tell them how to spell it? I live in California and I tell the lady what the name is and then spell it to her and she writes it down.

I guess... though Irene is such a common and like.. classic name here you'd think the person would have spelled it right. It's like if they made me like Mhonika or something (Monica here).
