After a lot of posts about creative names and spellings and such...

Do YOU have a creative name? Do you know someone who does? How does she/he deal with it?

The only one I can think of is a kid I work with. He goes by Jeff; that's the spelling he has on his name tag, the spelling he uses on Facebook.. the spelling I would assume he had if I hadn't seen the legal version written on the schedule: Jephthe. Oy.

I have a normal name, with the more uncommon spelling. Aimee. I have always really liked it.

I always want to pronounce Aimee the French way! Amy and Aimee are two different names to me, but then again, I'm not from an English-speaking country =)
