After a lot of posts about creative names and spellings and such...

Do YOU have a creative name? Do you know someone who does? How does she/he deal with it?

The only one I can think of is a kid I work with. He goes by Jeff; that's the spelling he has on his name tag, the spelling he uses on Facebook.. the spelling I would assume he had if I hadn't seen the legal version written on the schedule: Jephthe. Oy.

I don't know if it counts as 'creative', but my name is Steve and I'm a girl. Loads of problems with post and forms, everything gets addressed to Mr or it gets changed to Steph, and I'm forever having to repeat myself...but for all that, I still really like it. I'm never at a loss for something to say when I'm meeting people!
