What do you think of the combination Emmeline Rosemary Ruth? And how do you all pronounce Emmeline?
Also, is the name Hermione too connected to Harry Potter to ever be used seriously as a name? I really like the combination Isabella Hermione, but I'm afraid that the association is too strong. :/

Date: 2009-08-18 03:22 am (UTC)I think Hermione is a nice name. Speaking as a long-time Harry Potter fan, I would immediately think of Harry Potter if I heard the name Hermione, but I would get past it pretty quickly, as long as her last name wasn't Granger. ;) And if it's a middle name, I wouldn't worry about it at all. The only thing is that you would probably get people asking if (or even assuming that) she was named after the character, so if that would really bother you, it may be a problem.
