random names and how important is the meaning?

I really hope I dont have a baby soon, my favourite names change on a daily basis.  I would so be one of those parents who let their kid go nameless for a week, hehehe.

BOYS:
Tobias: God is great
Clayton: town on Clay Land
Koen: brave and gallant
Harvey: army warrior

GIRLS:
Isaura: soft air
Dagny: day, brightness, new day
Penelope: dream weaver

How important is the meaning of a name to you?  Does it really matter?

When you were growing up did you really think about it?

I don't think it matters at all, unless it's Jezebel *previous post* & then all people associate the name with is hussy!
I've always liked the fact Sophia means wisdom/philosopher, It made me really into greek myths as the goddess of wisdom is Athena. My favourite book is Sophie's World, I chose on the basis of reading something with my name in it but it really changed my life! The character was 'Sophie' as the book is a histpry of philosophy.
However, after all that- it doesnt really suit me, i'm commonsense-less lol.
