random names and how important is the meaning?

I really hope I dont have a baby soon, my favourite names change on a daily basis.  I would so be one of those parents who let their kid go nameless for a week, hehehe.

BOYS:
Tobias: God is great
Clayton: town on Clay Land
Koen: brave and gallant
Harvey: army warrior

GIRLS:
Isaura: soft air
Dagny: day, brightness, new day
Penelope: dream weaver

How important is the meaning of a name to you?  Does it really matter?

When you were growing up did you really think about it?

I don't take much interest in meanings, to be honest. I think I am partly worried that the meaning of a name will influence my opinion of it, and I don't want that to happen because when you name someone something, everyone will know them by the name not the meaning. Also, you called also be setting really high standards for the kid, like Belle, which means beautiful. What if she was ugly?? Thats why as much as I like the name Grace, I could never use it because what if she was clumsy like me?
