random names and how important is the meaning?

I really hope I dont have a baby soon, my favourite names change on a daily basis.  I would so be one of those parents who let their kid go nameless for a week, hehehe.

BOYS:
Tobias: God is great
Clayton: town on Clay Land
Koen: brave and gallant
Harvey: army warrior

GIRLS:
Isaura: soft air
Dagny: day, brightness, new day
Penelope: dream weaver

How important is the meaning of a name to you?  Does it really matter?

When you were growing up did you really think about it?

The meaning didn't infulence any of my choices for my baby (I am pregnant). My girl name was my grandfather's name, but it is a name that in the U.S. is recognized as a feminnine name (he was european). The middle name I chose because it is my favorite name.

My boy name is a name that is a well recognized, legitimate, old-fashioned name. It is very uncommon today, and I have never seen it mentioned in this community before. I just like the name! It's meaning isn't important to me.
