I really hope I dont have a baby soon, my favourite names change on a daily basis.  I would so be one of those parents who let their kid go nameless for a week, hehehe.

BOYS:
Tobias: God is great
Clayton: town on Clay Land
Koen: brave and gallant
Harvey: army warrior
GIRLS:
Isaura: soft air
Dagny: day, brightness, new day
Penelope: dream weaver

How important is the meaning of a name to you?  Does it really matter?

When you were growing up did you really think about it?

THANKS : )

I don't think many people actually think that much about it. I mean, I guess if you named your kid something ONLY because of the meaning, they might grow up hearing the story and knowing that. But for the most part, I for one never thought about my name's meaning.

Lindsay means "Linden Trees Near the Water", so it's not like I even thought about it really, haha.

I think when I name my kids someday, I might give them a mn with a meaning: strength, courage, knowledge, etc. or something that means something to me. But for the most part, I like names simply because I like them.
