My husband and I watched 27 Dresses last night and as the credits rolled I noticed the name

Malin

I assumed it was pronounced Mah-lin but looking on babynamesworld.com I see its actually Mah-leen.

WDYT?

Also, do you think Lily is on the rise to the top ten? I love the name but we are trying to stay away from anything too popular.

In the Netherlands, we pronounce it as Mah-lin (or at least, the Malin I know pronounces it like this) and I like that pronunciation way better than Mah-leen.

The name is on my list, I really like it.
