I was researching my family tree and found this gem: Grayce.  She was born in 1896.  Somehow, I thought they stayed away from creative spellings back then.  But her parents must have liked it or something.  She also named her daughter Grayce (born in 1929).

my cousins daughter is named grayce. she spelled it like that to be kree8yv and because her mothers maiden name (my aunt) is gray.
