ok I am jsut about 16 weeks with baby #2. An u/s at 12 w to confirm dates showed what looked like a little boy but since that is so incredibly early i'm not ruling out anything yet. some of the names I like for middle names and some for first this is my first draft so to speak lol so it will hopefully get better as time moves on and we can start establishing which name goes where. feel free to suggest more names because right now I am totally open to suggestion. My tendency is to lean toward irish/scottish names because my husband family is from cork and I have family scattered throughout scotland. I also tend to like greek/roman myth and hebrew names.

I don't really see what is wrong with Tamsin, I know a Tamsyn.
And Elisha is very similar to Alisha, Alyssia etc.
Also, I know of a Tempest.

Nothing wrong with Bronwyn, just a rare but normal name where I come from.
I also don't think Tamsin is that bad.

But I agree especially that Tempest and Temperance are ridiculous, and Archimedes is not that good an idea either...

Congratulations on your baby!!!!

I'd like to say that Malichi is not Biblical. Malachi is. IMHO, if you don't spell it Hebrewly (I made up a word, I know) then it's not technically Biblical. Like Zachariah. It's ZECHariah.

As far as your list, I ADORE mot of your names:

Female
Annora-honor - I LOVE it. It's soooo gorgeous and I am adding it to my list.
Ariel-lion of God - I like it a lot
Bronwyn-blessed - sounds very LOTR, but not horrible.
Caelan-slender - kind of pretty. We have been having a long discussion about Caeslin in this comm.
Isabel-God of plenty - one of my all-time faves and fave spellings of it.
Lael-of God - Love this, and I know a sweet girl with this name. It's very unique but not hard to pronounce.
Lenore-shining light - I also like this, although Lenora is my top name.
Tempest-stormy - not into this one so much
Temperance-moderation - or this one. Makes me think of not drinking alcohol.
Thalia-flowering, muse of comedy - I like this. It's also a Turkish name
Tamsin-twin - interesting, although nms.

Male
Alaric-noble ruler - interesting. Aric for short is cute.
Archimedes-mathematician - meh...nms.
ciaran-black - Sea-are-anne? I kind of like it.
Deacon-servant - As a middle name, lovely.
Elisha-God is salvation - LOVE IT
Elliot-my God is YAHWEH - LOVE IT
Guillermo-protection - LOVE IT, as I am obsessed with Hispanic names. This would be a better middle name, as no one will get the Y sound.
Miles-merciful - LOVE IT
Oliver-elf army - LOVELOVELOVE it! :)
Quentin-fifth - It's ok. Middle name I guess.
Rowan-little red one - Isn't Brooke Shield's girl named Rowan? A little too LOTR for me, but pretty. It seems fem
Seamus-supplanter - nms at all. I know it's not uncommon, but it looks funny to me.

You have a LOVELY list of names. Keep us updated!

Thalia

Alaric
Elliot
Miles
Quinten
Rowan

What about:
Aurora
Adriana

Ezra (Hebrew, "helper" I think)

What is your first childs name?

Ariel- beautiful, mermaid connection but that's not a problem for me.
Caelan- quite popular, not as much as caitlin but there are loads of different spellings & if you add them all up it's kid of trendy... but i like it still
Isabel- very very popular now, but i love it spelt Isabelle.
Tempest- hmm... weird but i can imagine it being quite a cool name actually.. makes me think of shakespeare.
Temperance- love it
Tamsin- very pretty and unusual, although i know a few Tamsin's it's not often heard.

Male

Archimedes- i see you love the sword in the stone!! if you want an owl connection go for Athena for a girl (goddess of wisdom, greek wisdom=owl)Archimedes is a bit over the top
ciaran- Like a lot, but i think i prefer Cairen (like Ciaran but the first sullabke is kye not kear)
Deacon- It's okay, but servent isnt a very nice meaning..
Elisha- You mean Elijah? Elisha is such a girls name!
Elliot- love
Miles- prefer Myles. It's okay...i really hate a guy by that name so i'm biased but if i think about it subjectivly it's not a bad name

I like Ariel & Elliot the most :-)

Annora-fine
Ariel-too Disney Princess
Bronwyn-I like it spelled Bronwen
Caelan-seems a bit contrived (whether it is or isn't) and just kind of blends into the crowd of Kay names, very popular right now
Isabel-way overused
Lael-ok
Lenore-too old
Tempest-too out there
Temperance-ditto. sounds like you're naming a pilgrim
Thalia-nice
Tamsin-nice. my best childhood friend was named Tamsen, which I prefer because I'm used to it and because it has a softer sound and no "sin" in it. But Tamsin is the traditional spelling, so that's fine too.

Alaric-nice
Archimedes-way too much for a kid to carry
ciaran-nice. I think Kieran would be easier though.
Deacon-I don't like religious titles as names.
Elisha-would confuse people.
Elliot-love
Guillermo-no
Miles-fine
Oliver-very trendy
Quentin-eh
Rowan-nice
Seamus-nice

I personally like your list =)

I just wanted to make one comment regarding Bronwyn. I know a lot of people don't care one way or the other, but if you are a stickler for correctness, -wyn is male in Welsh. The female spelling would be Bronwen.

Female Annora Very pretty! Ariel Cute name. I knew a girl named Aril and she was called Ariel all the time. Bronwyn I also went to school with a Bronwyn, lovely name! Her sister was Attalie which I also loved. Caelan Love! The Caeslin discussion mentioned before is entirely my fault as it's my absolute favorite name and this is close enough I really like it too! Isabel Another of my favorite names.. I wish it wasn't so popular Lael Very nice!! Lenore Not a big fan of this one or any variants. It's... ok Tempest Interesting. Not really one I'd lean toward Temperance Another interesting one I'd never use =) Thalia Love it! I knew a girl named Theala and I loved her name too Tamsin For whatever reason, this name immediately brings to mind the Tazmanian devil for me... It's a cute name, if I werent so weird. Male Alaric This one's ok... Archimedes I think even as a middle name this one's a stretch. Ciaran I really like this one. Deacon Very cute name, but it doesnt seem like it grows-up well... I think of it as a little boys name more than a mans. Elisha Love this one. Love Biblical names. Elijah is one of my favorites and Elisha is right up there with it. Although I wonder if most people would realize it's not pronounced e-LEE-shuh but e-LY-shuh Elliot I worked with a special needs Kindergartener with this name, so it always gives me fond (and exasperating at times) memories=) Guillermo This one's a little too ethnic for my white self, but a nice name in and of itself. Miles This one seems like a whimpy name to me. Miles and Seth.. they always seemed to be the boys who got beat up around here. Oliver S'ok Quentin Really like this one! Rowan Love this one! Seamus Kinda old manish to me.
Other names I love just to throw them out there: Caena(KEE-nuh)- fair one, Bridgette, Fiona, Marnie Cairbre-bearer, Laise-flame

Thalia

My favorites for boys:

Alaric
Elisha (I know how it sounds, yes, and I love it, and always have)

Thalia has been one of my favorites...although I like it spelled Talia.

Elliott is another favorite of mine.

From your list I also like:

Deacon
Oliver
Quentin

Thalia is a beautiful name, I really hope you consider that. Lenore and Isabel are alright but other than that I don't care much for your girls' names.
Miles, Oliver and Rowan, while not personal favorites, could work, and well, Guillermo is my boyfriend's name so I'm biased :P The world needs more Guillermos. And Quentin is one of our mutual best friends, and I do like his name a lot, so I definately vote for Guillermo or Quentin.

Annora-I really prefer the spelling Honora. Pronounced the same as Annora, it just doesn't look more made up.
Ariel-everyone will think you named her after the Little Mermaid.
Bronwyn-Like it. Prefer Bronwen. Looks less trendy.
Caelan-reminds me of all the Jaden/Braden/Kaeden monstrosities.
Isabel-beautiful
Lael-Ugh
Lenore-love it
Tempest-was traditionally a man's name
Temperance-What will you nn her? Too cumbersome.
Thalia-love it
Tamsin-don't like

Male
Alaric-really Ren-Fair-y
Archimedes-Very cumbersome
ciaran-Don't like
Deacon-like
Elisha-he may be teased for having a "girl's" name
Elliot-very trendy
Guillermo-not so keen
Miles-love
Oliver-I really don't like this name personally but its not bad
Quentin-OK
Rowan-trendy
Seamus-LOVE
