I'm confused about this...

With month names (April, May, June, September, etc) should the child be named that only if they're born in that month? What if say, you were born in April but named October? Would that be too weird? I love month names...

Some people would say so. I would say the opposite. I think that if the only significance of the month is that it's when they were born, it's not worthy of being a name. You might as well just name them their full date of birth, like always just refer to me as the 5th of January 1985, instead of a real name. However, if you love the name of a month because of some other reason - maybe that month has always brought happiness, it's the start of spring, or you like what the month actually means or the goddess it was named after etc - then you could name the child that, the same way you would use any other name. It's fine to call a girl May if she was born in July.. but having said all that, if you happen to love a month name and plan to use it, but then your child gets born in that month, that shouldn't stop you using it if you really love it.

I hope this made sense, I've been really incoherent lately
