Deciding..
Jun. 13th, 2006 05:12 pmI am 27 weeks pregnant, and expecting a girl. I've been putting off picking out a name, but I figure I better get to thinking up something, else she will be nameless! So far, I've had alot of trouble with picking out names. I didn't realize just how picky I was! This seems to be the short list I've come up with, and I've taken to try and mix them up to see what I like. I am open to any suggestions about these names, or other names you would place with them. I get tired of searching through endless baby name sites, and would rather just have flat out opinions on it. :)
Madalyn
Malise
Reagan
Ava
Avie
Jane
Scarlett
Adaire
Laila
So far, I really like the name Madalyn, because I can call her Maddy for short. I like Ava, but it seemed a bit too much for a first name, and have been considering it as a middle name. I threw Scarlett in there becuase I am a huge gone with the wind fan, and I don't know of any Scarletts where I live. Laila was tossed in there because of the Eric Clapton song. Lol. Any help on coming up with something unique would be much appreciated!

Date: 2006-06-14 12:13 am (UTC)Malise - Makes me think of malaise
Reagan - Uck, too presidental, and not a president I cared for either.
Ava - Nice but too popular for my taste.
Avie - Fine, but sounds like a nn for... Avery?
Jane - Nice, classy and cute. Rarely used.
Scarlett - Garish-sounding imo. I don't like that sound "scar" in a name, either.
Adaire - Makes me think "Truth or Dare."
Laila - Not a favorite of mine, but it's ok.
