I have been wondering this for the longest time, how do you pronounce Maeve?
And also, I came across this name while I was on vacation: Lyric.
Never heard that before and every time i see it it grows on me- WDYT?

Maeve is pronounced MAYV.

I've been seeing Lyric quite a bit. I can't say I hate it, although it seems queer on boys and I've seen it mostly on them.

It's not something I'd use, but has a good ring to it.

Guess it was 'wrong'.

Lyric is a bit odd but goes with things like Melody I guess.

I don't really like Lyric. It does have a pretty sound, but I don't like word names. I prefer Lyra.

I know someone who has a little girl Lyric. I think it's quite a harsh sound for a girls' name but too feminine for a boy. Not that I like super frilly girly names either though, but Lyric just feels really rough and scratchy in my mouth.

Lyric is not bad, but not my style either.
