Someone posted about Months of the Year names like June and April, so I thought I'd follow up and ask:

What gemstone names do you all like?

List of some traditional "gemstone" names:

Ruby
Opal
Pearl
Jade
Sapphira (Sapphire)
Esmeralda (Emerald)
Amethyst
Coral


I can't think of any more right now but I know there must be. I really like Ruby and Opal and that's about it.

I just saw something like this on a forum. Here's what they said:

Jade
Jayden
Citrine
Peridot
Ruby
Pearl
Jasper

Emerald/Esmerelda (nn Emmy/Emma)
Cordelia (means jewel of the sea)

Coral

I would only really use Ruby but more for a mn and because it's my birthstone.
