babynamesI just came across this really cool baby name site today. It gives you common spellings, nick names, unintended nick names, popularity, etc. The search tool is great, too. You can choose number of letters for the name, beginning/ending letters, letter sequences and more.

Combing two favorite baby names can result in some totally unique ideas. If you're adventurous parents, try out this method for yourself" and then lists some atrocious combinations like:
"For girls:
* Vanessa + Lisette = Vannette
* Jessica + Faye = Jessaye
* Sara + Laura = Lara
For boys:
* Cody + Harper = Carper
* Nathan + Shane = Nash
* Joshua + Hosiah = Joziah
* Templeton + Brok = Tearok "
