We got our yearbooks yesterday, and today I went through it looking for odd names...

Grayseigh Gold- (Gray... Gold? I'm sure that's what they were going for. Colors.)
Canibal Kluck- (*laughs* Hannibal is bad enough, but CANIBAL! Eek.)
Flowur Magnolia- (*blink* No comment.)
Sinthieuh Gregg- (Cynthia? I guess kre8yvity is important?)
Lewci Hummble- (Lucy. Luci. Lucie, even, and that's taking it far. But Lewci?!)
Pepsi Martin- (I bet she has a sister named Coke, and another named Pepper)
Jew Russe- (Russe is the French word for Russian, isn't it? Maybe he's part Russian, part Jewish?)
Hehvan Org- (Sounds like you're describing an orgasm. "It was pure heaven.")
And trust me... there were more.

Those are just some of them. Is it suddenly cool to not only A) give your child an atrocious name, but also B) Spell it obviously wrong? No! It's not cool. Geez.

Did you find any GOOD names worth taking note of? :) Those are all a bit off the wall. I thought I liked unique but those just sound a bit further than just unique.

No, it was in one of my baby name books in the "fun" sections, from the SSA records.

The only twins I've known have been normal - Brandon and Nick; Tawny and Nikki, and my two best friends are twins - Jennifer "Jenni" and Elizabeth "Lizzie."

i know a girl named Magnolia and when i first met her i was like whoa...but i think it's nice. but flowur magnolia is just wrong.

Have never quite seen the logic/appeal of creative spellings, and find 'brand names' a bit tacky (unless they were legit names before e.g Levi)

I used to love the name Flower, when I was sixteen and trying to be a hippy ... grew out of it though.
Magnolia is the only name on that list I like.
Spelt properly Lucy Humble is nice, has a kinda 'puritan' thing going.
Gracie isn't so bad either [prefer Grace nn Gracie though, less cutesy], don't generally have a problem with colour names but two together is a bit much particually when the kinda clash IRL.

And do agree that Clara-May Parker is stunning.

wow u get interesting names, the only "out of the ordinary" names here are either spelt different, like mine
im Stefanie Janet, dont know any more Stefanie Janet's out there.
and there was a girl called Shonaugh
or they are foreign
there was a girl called guli in my class for a while. her name was guliseiv and she was from sweden.
and there was a guy called aljocha but he was from france.
