Yeah I know :)

Just thought, are you saying Eva as 'ee-va' or 'ay-vuh'? (it's great either way)

I don't think the shortness is a problem at all. But I've always had a bit of an issue with first names ending in an "a" and middle names beginning in an "a." It just doesn't roll off the tongue as easily. But both names are beautiful and obviously it's not my decision to make! lol =D

It's not too short, but it doesn't sound right to me. (When swaid fast: Evaan. Eevaann. Evan.)

But I do like both names by themselves. :)

To me, it's not that it sounds to short necessarily, but the double 'A' sound kind of clashes a bit [Eva ending in 'a' and Ann beginning with 'a'].

I was thinking the same thing about the double A.. but then i decided to try it in an aussie accent, and you know, it sounds fine! Well... i sounded stupid but the name is wonderful!
