My cousin Talitha decided to name her daughter Shoshana Leigh. Leigh is infact pronounced Lee. Leigh is the feminine spelling. 


[And for those of you who want to debate the pronunciation of Leigh, go to behindthename.com. It doesn't show varying pronunciations, but merely "lee."]

Probably because some people want to pronounce Leigh with an "ay" sound as in neighbor, weigh, sleigh.

yeah my middle name is leigh and you'd be surprised at how many people say "lay" ick! hehe
