I see variations of the word all of the time. It's supposed to be Déjà, as in "It's déjà vu all over again." It's supposed to be pronounced the American way, without the accent on the 'a.' I never see it spelled correctly, though.

Turns out, posters in the name's comment section on Behind the Name say it's Lithuanian for "unfortunately," Spanish for "to leave," and Slavic for "to do something, to act." I just say it's a stupid name.

I looked on behind the name... and they said they didn't recognize it. If it was supposed to be Deja, wouldn't she have spelled it Dayzah rather than Dazyah? I read this Dazz-yuh. Either way.... people need spelling lessons.
