baby names
May. 17th, 2006 03:05 pmMy husband and I have a long surname (10 letters) so we need something elegant (and unfortunately for our unborn child, slightly long). I must confess a passion for long names.
If we have a boy:
Nicholas
Robert
James
Gavin
If we have a girl:
Nicola
Elise (short for Elisabeth)
Victoria
Lilliana (or Lillian/Lily)
Alessa (Alessandra)
Chloe (although living in the UK, we tend to get quite a few Chloe's here).

Date: 2006-05-17 09:54 am (UTC)The girl names are all really nice.
A friend of mine is called Alessa but she has no nn because she doesn't like Ali and everything else doesn't really work. So that's the only bad thing about that name.
I've always liked Elise and Lily and Chloe is pretty nice, too.
I don't really like Nicola and Victors (because I always think of Victoria Beckham right away.)
