Hi everyone,

I am 17 1/2 weeks pregnant and just found out that my husband and I are having a lovely little girl! We have a first name, but we're stumped on a middle name.

Her name will be Lyra _____ Olson-Bell. Can anyone suggest a middle name?

TIA!

Lyra is such a pretty name!

Here are some suggestions that I think could work for a middle name:

Lyra Rose
Lyra Elise
Lyra Claire
Lyra Annette
Lyra Marie
Lyra Mae
Lyra Esme
Lyra Grace
Lyra Clarice
Lyra Juliet
Lyra Maeve

Good luck! :)

I would go with something really simple:

Lyra Jane Olson-Bell
Lyra Kate Olson-Bell
Lyra Mae Olson-Bell

I think something short, sweet, and to the point (ie, one syllable) is probably your best bet.

I really like Lyra!

I love Lyra; it's one of my absolute favorites! How are you pronouncing it? Lie-ra, or Leer-a? Both are pretty, I think =)

I really like the name Lyra.

I like the sound of Lyra Sophia but I think it looks better spelled Sofia somehow - Lyra Sofia Olson-Bell looks sweet and kind of exotic at the same time.

Other suggestions:

Lyra Genevieve Olson-Bell
Lyra Judith Olson-Bell
Lyra Julianne Olson-Bell
Lyra Margaux Olson-Bell

Lyra is on my list, and I know a family who named their daughter after the character as well (far enough away from me socially and geographically that I didn't think it would be an issue). :)
