Hi! My name is Amy and I found out yesterday that I am 14ws2ds pregnant with my first child. It's pretty exciting.

My bf and I have already decided on two names: Morgan for a girl, Damien for a boy.

The main reason why I'm here is I want to see what you think about the name Damien. Both of our families HATE that name and I believe it's only because they are aware of the movie "The Omen". Plus both of our families are pretty religious ( my bf and I happen to be Atheist). I can't stand it when they tell me not to name my son Damien because it's the devil's son and he will turn out evil. I think it's the stupidest thing I've ever heard.I keep telling them that before the 70's no one ever thought of the name Damien to be associated with the devil, and nowhere in the bible does it say that the devil had a son named Damien. I mean, if I was to name him Charlie would they get on me about naming him after Charles Manson, or if I named him John would they get on me for naming him after John Wayne Gacy? I don't think so.

What do you guys think and do you have any ideas of what I can say to them to shut them up? (that is if you agree on the name)
