I feel so bad for one of the kids I teach. His name is Agabus. What do you think? Is that not the cruelest name you can call a child?

I actually really like Harshdeep in context. I assume that Sahib and Shakeel are also ethnic names?

I don't think that Seth is a very interesting name. Nor Rachel or Isabella. Those are pretty plain and common.

I like Mason though it makes me think of Dead Like Me and Will and Grace.

Part of the reason I thought they were interesting is that students have mentioned what they thought of their name to me more than once, which makes me think that it is a big issue to them. Some of them loved them, and some of them outright hated them. I think the child's perspective is very interesting when it comes to picking a name. They have made me think second thoughts on a few names I would have picked before.

Can you guess which kids liked their names and which kids hated their names? Some are easy, and some are pretty hard to tell!
