What does everyone think of the name Valora for a girl?  It means "bravery."

I assume is "Va-lore-uh", which is not the same as valor "Val-er", the word. So that isn't an issue imo.

However, it is too close to velour, a velvet like fabric, and something often used in robes, and those hideous colored lounge clothes that just look like the old style of jogging outfits, only more tacky.

It also makes me think of a name I made up that I like better. Vairlyse - "Vair-leese".
