I'm having a mini crisis!

So my sons name has been more or less decided for a few weeks. Brady Allen. I love Brady and my grandpa's name is Allen. My sister had a dog for a few months like three years ago named Brady, and we laughed about it but it didnt change my decision.

Then today I find out that the dogs name was "Brady Allen" (we've always given our animals middle names). I had never known this. And I still like the name, although it bothers me that I truly didnt come up with it. I must have heard it before and stored it away.

What would you do if the same situation happened to you?

I'm thinking that I'd still really like to use Allen for my grandpa, but that maybe I want to add a second middle name to just make it different? I dont know. I'm so confused.

Ps- Its been between Brady Allen and Asa Nathaniel for the past few months.

If they no longer have the dog is isn't an issue - because you are naming him for your Grandpa not the dog.

But if it bothers you than consider changing it. Would Allen Brady be ok, you could still use the nn Brady.
