What do you think of the names:

Carolina or Carolena

Both to be pronounced as ca-row-lee-nah

Nickname would be Cara

Trying to find a spanish/latin -ish sounding name that I like. Hubby was born in Spain, and I'd like to try and find something that isn't too overly ethnic. :)

Other names we liked were,

Elena
Natalia - Can't use this because his brother used that for his last kid. :)
Isabela
I also liked Gabriella, but he didn't.

Do you have any other suggestions???

i like carolina. my name is caroline and a few of my friends call me carolina (pronounced like the states) and i like it. whenever i go to a spanish/latin event for work, i am always introduced as carolina (pronounced with the lee sound instead of lie sound). i absolutely love it.
