Atrocious Names

So there is a girl in one of my college classes named Maley. Pronounced exactly like you would think, with the emphasis on the sound "male" in it. Yuck.

Also in that class is a girl named Rebecca. Nice enough name, or so I thought. Turns out it's spelled "Rebbekayh."

What are some really awful names you have run across in your day to day life?

To me, as well. That's why I was so surprised when she said it as Rebecca, and I didn't learn of the spelling until later. Because those two don't match up at all, in my opinion.
