Everyone I know named Alicia pronounces it Uh-lee-sha ... if I saw the name Alisha, I would think it was pronounced Uh-lish-uh.

ditto - i've known probably 20 alicias throughout school because i moved a lot, all pronounced the leash way. i've never even heard of a-lease-ee-uh, though that does make more sense.

I used to have a friend who pronounced it A-lee-see-ah but every other one I have known has been A-leash-ah.
