Livana is an example of a name not spelled the way it sounds and that irritates me, personally. Livana should be "Liv-ahna". Or "Liv-anna".

Well, here goes. Livana - sounds like you're trying to say Live-on-a-(farm, for example.) Or maybe liver on a farm, gross. Ashlee - overdone, and that includes every spelling. Destiny - If you choose this name for your kid, then you're choosing her destiny as a stripper/prostitute. Alicia is nice enough, as is Zoe.

As far as the boy names, they're all kind of overdone and uninteresting. Benjamin and Ian seem the classiest and having the best chance for longevity or being able to transcend trends.

Alicia is actually pronounced Uh-lease-ee-uh. It's Spanish.

Uh-lee-sha would be Alisha.

Everyone I know named Alicia pronounces it Uh-lee-sha ... if I saw the name Alisha, I would think it was pronounced Uh-lish-uh.

I don't mind Alicia and Zoe. And Ashley with this pronunciation, although I would expect to find those names on people my age. Livana is just awkward to pronounce, and Destiny is way too trendy, it sounds like you're trying to be cool.

I like Justin, Benjamin and Ian a lot, and Eric only a little less than that. Chance is like Destiny for me, it's just too trendy.

Ashley with this *spelling

Chance just keeps bringing up a mental image of the pitbull from Homeward Bound, not a human.

ditto - i've known probably 20 alicias throughout school because i moved a lot, all pronounced the leash way. i've never even heard of a-lease-ee-uh, though that does make more sense.

ashley (my name) and alicia are really eighties to me, if i saw a baby with the name i'd just think it was outdated. i also don't think alicia is particularly nice sounding. and to me, regardless of it being my name, ashley is the only proper way to spell it. ashlee, ashleigh, ashlie, ect all look really stupid to me. it's not like caitlin/katelyn/kaitlyn where basically any spelling goes, ashley HAS TO BE ashley.

destiny is such a stripper name, honestly. you might as well name a kid pole dancer because it's all people will think of.

i don't like livana. i wouldn't mind it so much if it were liviana, though. and i'd never use the name zoe because i feel like it's a little girl name and not an adult name, but i don't hate it either. it's just not my style.

i don't like chance, but the rest of the boys names are alright. benjamin is one of my favorites.

No, it's not. It's not just Spanish, anyway. It's simply the Latinate form of Alice. Everyone I've ever known named Alicia has pronounced it 'ah-LEESH-uh'. Alisha would be 'ah-LISH-uh'.

Livana sounds a bit like "liver" to me, or a misspelling of Lavinia.

Ashlee is spelled incorrectly, though I don't much like Ashley either.

I don't like names like Destiny or Chance... I'm not necessarily against all nouns as names, but the words relating to fate are a bit much for me.

Justin, Ian, Alicia, and Zoe are fine, just not my style.

I really like Alicia. Zoe is ok, Ashlee is better spelled Ashley, Livana sounds like a made-up name for a video game, and Destiny is just trashy.

I love the names Benjamin, Ian, and Eric. Justin is alright but overdone, and Chance is the dog in Homeward Bound, not a human name.

Not that my opinion matters much. :)

I've only seen Levana spelled this way, and I quite like that. I'm not a very big fan of Livana, I don't know why.

I really don't like Destiny. I think it's ugly and tacky...same goes for Justin. The rest are just really not my style, but not necessarily bad names.

I used to have a friend who pronounced it A-lee-see-ah but every other one I have known has been A-leash-ah.

Destiny and Chance are really really not my thing.

Justin has bad connotations for me - not a kid you'd want to meet.

Livana looks a bit made-up - and the spelling doesn't match the pronunciation.

I like Alicia and Benjamin a lot.

I don't mind many of your boys names, but I don't enjoy a single one of your girls names.

Yes, that's what I told my husband when he suggested it as our boy's name.

Livana - Makes me think, "Live on a what?"

Ashlee - Not a big fan of the spelling. I like Ashley all right. There was an Ashlee at my high school, and, oh, my god, what a royal bitch. It's all I think when I see the name spelled that way.

Destiny - In theory, I like it, like a guilty pleasure, but can't imagine it on an actual person.

Justin and Eric - I've just never liked those names.

Something about Livana bothers me. I feel the spelling doesn't go with the pronunciation. I ranked Ashlee low because I don't like that spelling. It looks incomplete. I don't know why I don't like Destiny; sorry. ^^; Alicia looks pretty, but I prefer Ah-lee-see-ah.

The only boys' name I don't like is Chance. That's a word that I think doesn't work well as a name.

lol, but I guess it's better than him suggesting "Sassy" as your girls name =P

LOL I should have suggested that one to him.

For your girl's names, I really only like Zoe, and even that is just ok, mainly because I have a hard time picturing a Zoe over 12 or so. Destiny and Ashlee (when spelled like that) remind me of names you see on Cops and Ashlee Simpson, yuck. Ashley makes me think of the early 90's, and just seems so dated. Ditto with Alicia, just dated, and Livana is just awkward to say, although I like the nn Liv.

For your boy names I love Benjamin!! Ian is nice, just not my style. Eric and Justin again seem really dated, and Chance reminds me of that horrible annoying movie Homeward Bound. But Benjamin is great. :)
