Hello, I am new. I've been married for almost 4 months now and I am trying to convince my husband that we should start a family soon. Lol.
You all seem to be honest, so I ask you this...
I've always loved the name Toby for a son, and I was wondering, if I spelt it Tobe, would that be awful?
Thanks!
Oh and my name is Krystal Anne (I've never liked my name)and my husband is Jacob Nathan (I think he has a wonderful name!)

When I think of Toby/Tobe, I think of the dog Toby I know, and Tobey McGuire. It's all right.
I like the spelling Tobe.

I read it as "Towb" too. I say just go with Toby, it's a cute spelling, and actually makes sense.

Toby is not a popular name.. it doesn't need a kree8tyve spelling to make it 'different.'

and for those creative spellings:
Towbee/Towbi
Toebee/Toebi
Just kidding on the creative spellings :D

However, the spelling of Tobe is just plain wrong in terms of phonetics. and people would be very correct to "mispronounce" it.

But I think Toby is better, and I especially like it as a nn for Tobias.

Toby is too much of an animals name... I'm sorry.
