Pronounciation question...

I really like the name Rhiannon but... I have no idea how to pronounce it 'right' I keep saying 'Reye-eye-non' but something tells me that's not right... I also say it 'Ree-uh-non' and I like that even better. How do you guys say it... also... middle name suggestions?

I have fallen in love with the name and I agree about the middle names... I just don't want to be stuck with... Marie. No offense I just think it's such a pretty name and Marie is so over used.

The "right" pronunciation would be Welsh, as the name is, and is Ree-AH-nnon.
With Rihanna around, I guess other people would be inclined to pronounce it close to that. I love the original way, btw :)

i find the name rihanna difficult. i, and everyone else i know pronounces her name ree-ON-uh, but i once heard her talk and she said, "hi. this is ree-ANN-uh!" i got really confused. haha.

One of my daughter's middle names is Rhiannon. I've loved the name for a long time but she doesn't really like it. Maybe when she gets older (she's 15) she'll appreciate it more. I have always pronounced it the way most others here do, ree-ANN-ehn, like the Fleetwood Mac song and rhyming with Shannon. I have also heard it pronounced similar but with the stress on the first syllable, REE-ah-non. I don't like this way.
