A girl in my nursing class is named Honey. I was a little ehh about it at first, but she's this cute little asian girl (from Vietnam, I believe), and the name kind of fits.

Well, I found out a few weeks ago that her full first name is Honey-Chile, Chile said like child without the D.

She's about thirty.

Well, it wouldn't offend me to be called a cute little [anything] girl, so maybe it's just how the person understands it. As I understand it, it wasn't an offensive/condescending statement. I guess the meaning is different to me than it is to others.

When I said I didn't mean anything by it, I meant I didn't mean any HARM by it. From the context of the sentence, I think that could be pretty well perceived. If you were as clever as you think you are, you might have picked up on that. So go ahead and nit-pick my wording for the sake of starting a flame war. That's not not witty, that's rude.
