A family was featured in an article for the local paper.

Bryanna age 9 girl
Brytanny age 6 girl
Brady age 1 boy

When I look at that spelling for Brianna I say it more like Bry-anna. BRY-an-uh. Like saying Bryan with the "uh" on the end. Then I look at that spelling of Brittany and I want to say Bry-tin-ee. My brain completely rejects that though and I can't even say it out loud without getting tongue twisted.  Brady lucked out, didn't he?

I say Bryanna just like you.... and I hate both the girls names. THe spelling is awful to me.

I say both names like you do. People really don't realize that changing a letter changes the pronunciation.

Oh god. "Brytanny" makes my head hurt. Plus, I read that as BRY tann-ee. Blech. You're right, Brady lucked out.

Just a thought (I could be TOTALLY wrong) but maybe the family really does pronounce it BRY-an-uh. Jordana and Philipa are girls names so it wouldn't be any different.

I wouldn't use it but I like it. :)

Brytanny is quite an abomination though. LOL
