Sibset for the letter "B"
Nov. 20th, 2008 02:59 pmA family was featured in an article for the local paper.
Bryanna age 9 girl
Brytanny age 6 girl
Brady age 1 boy
When I look at that spelling for Brianna I say it more like Bry-anna. BRY-an-uh. Like saying Bryan with the "uh" on the end. Then I look at that spelling of Brittany and I want to say Bry-tin-ee. My brain completely rejects that though and I can't even say it out loud without getting tongue twisted. Brady lucked out, didn't he?

Brytanny is quite an abomination though. LOL

Date: 2008-11-20 05:40 pm (UTC)I look at those names and try to make them all work together, but it just feels wrong. Brianna, Brittany, and Brady I could wrap my head around. However, Bryanna and Brytanny seem to clash because of the possible pronounciation differences.
(I like Philippa. I first saw that name in the Anne of Green Gables books and liked it but thought it was too masculine and cumbersome. It's really grown on my since Philippa Gregory's books have been around. Wasn't that Pippy Longstocking's real name, too?)
