i've been wanting to make this post for awhile now. basically it'll be members asking others: how is [name] pronounced?. it's not really a post asking how you prefer to pronounce a name..it's just that there are some names that i really do not know how to pronounce whatsoever and i figured that i'm not alone in this. i thought this could be helpful.

so i'll list mine and you list yours. hopefully we can help each other out. :]

rhiannon? (idk if it's REE-ann-inn or RYE-ann-inn)



also, if your name gets mispronounced often or if you know of names that are often mispronounced, post them here.

my example: my name is hana. it's not pronounced like hannah. it's more like HAH-nuh. it rhymes with nirvana. i get called hannah all the time. =/ that's not my name!! so, if you meet a 'hana', don't call her hannah! :]

People mispronounce my name, although since I go by Tasha for the majority of the time, I'm not sure how that's possible. I get Tah-shia a lot. It's just...Tasha.

My boyfriend is Rylan. He gets Ry-land, Rillin, Ryan, Riley, and Dylan.

I have a hard time pronouncing Saoirse.
