Apr. 16th, 2006 10:30 pmWhat do you think of the name Bishounen (bee-SHOW-nen) for a boy?
Its Japanese slang that literally translates into "beautiful boy". Would it be too weird to give a white, American boy a Japanese name?
Its strange but I really really love this and the nickname I would use would be Bish (beesh).

Date: 2006-04-17 12:22 pm (UTC)although it's not so much that association that would keep me, personally, away from using it... but i'm not even sure people in Japan would use a slang term like that to name a child.
