In Kingdom Hearts, there's two characters named Axel and Leon. Kingdom Hearts came to mind with me too.
But that's not why I'm commenting! I'm commenting because Abra is a Pokemon (http://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/Abra_(Pok%C3%A9mon)), and there's a version of that franchise called Pokemon Pearl (http://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/Pokemon_pearl). I'd approach that combo with some...reservations.
Thanks for letting me know about the Pokemon thing. I actually got both names from books (Abra is from East of Eden and Pearl is from The Scarlett Letter). I hate when coincidences like that happen.
I don't think your choice in names is so off the wall. I think most of them are just not often used, and some are quite nice.
Ones I particularly like are: Zenobia Marley (while I really do like Zenobia, it's either the same, or really close to the kingdom/country of the Princess Diaries movies. Sunny - Have loved this name, more so for a boy, spelled with an o, since the introduction of the Sonny character on the soap General Hospital, and because of an Alanna Myles song. Zara Marley Zoe Love Z names for girls.
Lennox Keenan - Love Lennox, it's on my list of top choices! =) Anton Callum
Not fond of Cora Yvette because it's too similar to the car, corvette. I think Cora or Kora Elaine sounds better, but that's me.
I think that Zara Marley is a little too close to a certain celebrity baby, Zahara Marley Jolie-Pitt. Just a thought. The rest of the names just really aren't my style.

Other than that, they're not really my style, but some of them flow quite nicely.

Date: 2008-09-15 02:32 pm (UTC)I like the sound of Zara Marley, but it reminds me of Angelina Jolie a lot (she named her eldest daughter Zahara Marley).
Not really a fan of the rest, sorry!
