Thoughts on Alliteration

After hearing a friend of mine talk about a name he likes for his future daughter, I got to thinking about alliteration.

He likes the name Tabitha. His last name is Thomas. Tabitha Thomas.

I don't know why but that just bugs me. I typically don't mind alliteration (I've got a friends whose initials are CC and it doesn't bother me) but this one has really got me in a tizzy.

Feelings on alliteration? Any combo of letters drive you up a wall?

I really like it a lot, but I'm partial. I just lost a very close friend named Tabitha who was a light in a dark world for many people. But I DO like the way it sounds. What would be the middle name?
