Thoughts on Alliteration
Sep. 9th, 2008 02:58 pmAfter hearing a friend of mine talk about a name he likes for his future daughter, I got to thinking about alliteration.
He likes the name Tabitha. His last name is Thomas. Tabitha Thomas.
I don't know why but that just bugs me. I typically don't mind alliteration (I've got a friends whose initials are CC and it doesn't bother me) but this one has really got me in a tizzy.
Feelings on alliteration? Any combo of letters drive you up a wall?

Edit: I just went through my Facebook friends, and there are actually a lot more alliterations than I remembered ... I guess that shows how not annoying it is to me, when I didn't even notice so many of them!
