Mar. 21st, 2006 10:11 pmI posted a while back with the name Kacey William Alexandar ______ .
Kacey wasn't a big hit but my boyfriend and I liked it until I noticed a problem.
We both hate our surnames so we plan to change both our surnames to match the one picked for our kids. We decided on my mother's maiden name, Rapley.
Kacey Rapley... Not digging the whole "ey - ey" sound.
We thought about it a bit more and came up with the name Oz.
Only thing is, I prefer it as a nickname to Osborne (my grandad's middle name) he prefers Oz as the full name.
Was just wondering what people thought... (I know it's pretty pointless as either way he'll get called "Oz")
1) Osborne William Alexandar Rapley (nn Oz)
2) Oz William Alexandar Rapley
or
3) WTF?!?! Osborne?!?! Oz?!?! I hate it either way... :P
Also any other suggestions on names that go well with ______ William Alexandar Rapley
Nothing really common or too plain, no random spellings to make it "unique" and nothing too crazy.
P.S. Alexandar is spelt -dar on purpose for Alexanda (great grandad) and Alexander (dad's step-dad). Just incase anybody missed that last time.
