So I was watching the Olympics the other day, and there was a medley event happening in the pool. My reaction was something like, "Medley, I like that word. Hmm, that could almost be a cute name for a girl."
The general sound actually seems like it fits in with some of the more popular names these days, so I'm almost surprised I haven't heard it used yet.
It has a nice enough meaning (in the musical sense), and it definitely strikes me as a word name that could sound completely normal in the future if it were used more frequently. (FYI, it's never been in the top 1,000 according to SSA records.)
I doubt I'd ever seriously consider using it, but it seems like it has potential. What do you think?
