 What do you think of the name Robin? For a boy or a girl. I don't hear it often and haven't heard it on small children in years.

I like it on both. My previous landlord had a daughter named Robin who was about 10 years old, named after her dad who was also named Robin. And one person on my friends list had a daughter named Robin about 6 months ago. It seems to be used more for girls these days, but I really like the association with Robin Hood as a boy's name.

We really like it for a boys name. But my family are rednecks from east texas and I see them making much fun. He would probably end up being called Robbie.(which I don't like). But if we have a girl we are considering it for a middle name.
