guilty pleasure names...

I've heard the names Darcey/Darcy and Coley a few times lately. Both for females. I don't know if I'd actually use either of them, but they sound wonderfully British to me (which is a good thing. Love that). What do y'all think of these names?

I'm all about kids having "more grown-up" names to fall back on. Coley's super-cute when you're little, but at thirty? I don't know.

Agreed. It's why I'm pretty against nicknames as full names.

Yeah. I was stuck for a while on Charlie for a girl (my mom's nickname was Charlie, because her last name was McCarthy, and then out of the blue a guy I know started calling me Charlie, without me even knowing people had called my mom that when she was my age). But I don't like Charlotte, so I wanted to use Caroline and call her Charlie. But everyone's like "if you're going to call her Charlie just name her that!!!!!!" I'm like "yeah. no." LOL. Of course, no one got where I got Charlie out fo Caroline, but Caroline=female of Charles...
