your POOR little neice. She can always have a name change when she gets to 18 to finally end all those "No, you spell it M-A-D-I-S-Y-N A-L-I..." conversations.

I've already told her mother i'd be glad to pay for the name change. she had the nerve to say, at least she put my name in there, i told her she screwed it up so bad, i din't recognize it, thus not counting.

i'm also willing to pay for her counseling...

you can always do what I did with my baby sister. My mum saddled her with Melissa (I've never known a particularly nice Melissa) Plus there's like a million Melissas out there. So from the day she was born I started calling her Missy and now that's her going name. Just start calling your neice Maddie.

My 2nd best female friend is a very wonderful girl named Melissa Sue, so rest assured there are good ones out there. And i went to jr. high with a nice one, too, :-D
