[identity profile] fleckerbug.livejournal.com posting in [community profile] babynames
Ugh, I need to have me some babies already before I come up with too many names!! Anyone else ever worry they'll get sick of their favorite names before they can use them?

On the subject of two middle names (in a recent post):
FWIW, my daughter had two first names, one middle name,  and a hyphenated last name. Our future children will only have one last name.
We've been trying to decide between Jonah Edward (going by Jonah) and Albert Edward IV (going by Edward or Ward). What do you all think of Jonah Albert Edward, (going by Jonah)? I like it, but my main issue is not wanting to use my FIL's name, and if we're going to do that perhaps we might as well just do it. We're pretty sure if we have a second son it will be some combo of Liam (maybe Uilliam), Patrick, and Anthony-- perhaps all three, in that order-- possible nicknames Liam, Paddy/Pat, and Andy.

Girls names!
As I've said before, we like Prism, Alice, and Esme. I know noone here likes Prism, that's okay. However another name we like is Cecily-- can anyone else see the link and is it too much? Other names I like, but aren't our tops, are Ruby, Catrine (or Catherine), Lily, and Eliza (or Elizabeth)

*edit* Okay the link between Prism and Cecily is from The Importance of Being Earnest. A lot of people when they hear Prism say it reminds them of Miss Prism. In the Importance of Being Earnest, Cecily is Miss Prism's ward.

Based on a comment I read-- are -lyn names really that super-duper popular tight now? I've just always thought they were popular in general. Our super-sekret girl's name is an -lyn name and I worry that people will just think I'm trying to be creative with an -lyn name. I actually used to really dislike -lyn names and just fell in love with this one. I'm sure anyone who has seen me post before about this name is annoyed by now, but we're TTC so hopefully soon come! I plan on sharing online once (if) we know there's a girl in there, but not with family until the birth.

Okay, a little OT, but since we all talk about pronunciations and names (words) going together-- a commercial just came on for some dohicky for 'motionless exercise' and I thought they said 'emotionless sexercise. :/

Anywho, night night. Thanks for any input.
