Hyphen is what my girl picked when she was about twelve or so. I'm trying to talk her out of it, but we've agreed on all the other names, and I did specifically pick Gary, so...
That is going to confuse people so much. They'll think his name is Isaac-Gary. I'm sure you've thought of that, though. :)
I am a fan of letting children pick from a set of names rather than giving free reign. Is she older now-- perhaps she might have a different choice by now?

You could always threaten to change your name to semicolon!
