Twins for Brangelina!

Yahoo is reporting that Angelina had her twins yesterday (the 12th) by c-section! Yay! I'm so excited. So many celeb births this past week! And from my favorites!

The names are being reported so far as Knox Leon and Vivienne Marcheline. LOVE THEM! YAY!

They join siblings Zahara, Pax, Maddox and Shiloh.

Don't know why...but I had a feeling this whole time that she would give birth to them on my birthday! And if they really were born on the 12th, then my feeling was right! Don't care for her or Brad too much, but I can't deny that they make pretty babies. :)

She really does like the "X" sound and I'm not sure I like it. It's so repetitive, IMO. I do like the name Maddox, but the others just seem like overkill.

Marcheline was Angelina's mother's name - I believe she passed away fairly recently, didn't she?

I love the name Vivienne, and the significance of Marcheline. It's not a name I'd pick, but honoring family members forgives a lot of name sins I'd otherwise take issue with.

I don't care for Knox Leon at all, and I agree that Knox/Pax/Maddox is overkill with the X sounds.

Vivienne is the only name of all their brood that I actually like.

It's official, Shiloh really is the odd one out.
Maddox, Zahara, Pax, Knox, Vivienne.
No obscure letter in Shiloh's name. :P

That being said, I'm loving Knox Leon, but Vivienne Marcheline doesn't seem to fit, does it?

Knox is horrible, makes me think of Knox gelatin, but I'm loving Marcheline so much that I wish they hadn't used it, lol, thought they probably made it up but I googled it and it's her mother's name.. they look a lot alike, she's Angelina without that yicky mouth. I think the rest of their childrens' names are horrible as well. Too many xes. I get irritated when Maddox gets lumped in with the rest.. she adopted him with Billy Bob Thornton. I have no problem with step-parenting and siblings being the same to each other regardless of how they're related, but call it what it is.. sorry just seems part of the whole nauseating celebrity thing.. removable daddy.

Ew, but wait, Marcheline is apparently some silly smooshing of her mother's first and middle names, but her mom did go by it. Ugh.

Don't like them. Any of them. At least they're all real, normal(ish) names, compared to her other kids' names, but I don't like them. Knox Leon seems to flow oddly to me, I guess maybe because they're both short names. It sounds kind of like "Knoxly On".

Marcheline I mind less because it's obviously to honour her mother, but I'm still not a fan.

Vivienne is very high up on my list. Knox is strange, and a bit too close to Pax and Maddox for comfort.

Marcheline, as someone pointed out is to honor her mother.
Knox is the middle name of Brad Pitt's maternal grandfather, I believe. and Leon is Angelina's Great Great Grandfather, or something.

So, I like that they use family names... but I do agree that the MaddoX, PaX, KnoX is a little much for me.

I don't like either of them. Leon and Marcheline are nice, but Vivienne is just...I don't like that name a lot more than I dislike Knox.

Yes, it's close to Pax and Maddox obviously, but they seem to have a theme and this way is named after family; Knox sounds more Western than both of them though.

They're nice though. Pretty 'normal', I would say. Shiloh is still my favourite name though.

Also, Knox is WAY too close to Pax and Maddox. But maybe they were going for a theme...? :-\

I heard on the news this morning that the boy was named Knox, but I missed what the girl's name was, and I discussed with some friends how celebs should not be allowed to name their babies anymore because too many have tried and failed, and how Angelina's kids all have (imo) awful names that don't even seem like names to me. But then I found out that the girl is named Vivienne and that's so pretty, I prefer Vivian but still, it just shocked me that she'd chosen something so NORMAL and NICE. So that's one win, five losses for her.

I don't like Knox. Fort Knox. Knox geletin. Hard knocks. It's just weird to say and I don't like the feel of it in my mouth. Knox. I guess it's a family name so... ok. But if they wanted a name with X, I wish they'd use Felix. I LOVE the name Felix and actually wish it would get more popular.

Vivienne Marcheline is pretty. Though I'm a little disappointed it wasn't Isla Marcheline like in earlier rumors. I thought that was a perfect name for a Brangelina baby.

Lol I think I'm in the minority, but the only name I can't stand of her children is Shiloh. I don't even like creatyve names, but Maddox, Pax, and Knox is cute, and Zahara, Shiloh, and Vivienne all have strong names that catch people's attention without being too over the top (Moon Unit, anyone?).

I agree with you, but the only one that bugs me is Shiloh's middle name. Yeah, it is funny all the boys got x's, but I like it better than the Duggars J fetish. At least they are all what I consider real names (I like surnames and place names, etc). I don't think Knox Leon flows very well, but I'll hold off judgement until I here how they are pning Leon.

I've heard Knox is Brad's grandpa's name...so I guess it's a nice gesture. I just don't like all the xs. and Vivienne is such an old lady's name. I hate it. I really love Marcheline though.

I have never, ever heard of Knox gelatin. So that name doesn't bother me. It's not my style, but I don't think it's awful. And I LOVE Vivienne!! Such a beautiful, classic name.

I actually really like Shiloh too, and I think Zahara is pretty, despite the criticism flowing in from every direction. Maddox is cute for a little boy. I can't see it aging well, though. And Pax...it's a lovely name in theory, but I have a hard time seeing it as a name that could work on a person.
