Feb. 21st, 2006 06:24 pmThis couple in my church just had a baby. They named her Gracie Imelda. I'm not sure about the spelling, but that's what I was told the middle name was. Now, Gracie is really cute, not something I'd name my kid, but cute. But Imelda? The kids just destined to have so many shoe jokes thrown at her.
So I've really started taking a liking to the name Louisa lately. And I lovelovelove Elinor, so what do y'all think about Elinor Louisa?

"Elinor" makes me think of "Elsinor" which is Hamlet's home. I love literary names, even if it wasn't a person.
I've seen Elinor spelled that way before on kids.
Don't like Gracie. Sounds like the family chocolate lab.
